These rooms, together with the main farm holding and the "baglio" give our guests the feeling that they are staying in a small rural village. One finds oneself in a timeless atmosphere thanks to the traditional use of materials: the soft Noto stone, the roof tiles in light-coloured clay, the hard limestone of Modica and the typical furnishings of rural Sicilian houses (iron bedsteads, dark wood chest of drawers and cupboards, unrefined materials and ceramics from Caltagirone and Santo Stefano di Camastra). |
